The
Seventh Connecticut Volunteers is a living history group based in Central
Florida. We are organized and operated for the purposes of educating
the general public concerning the role and heritage of the Union soldiers
who fought and died to preserve the Union during the 1861-1865 period.
We are currently seeking new members who are interested in portraying a Union infantry impression of the War Between the States. The 7th C.V.I. is a family oriented unit and encourages the participation of the unit wives, girlfriends, and children of the soldiers.
Attention: Loyal Men of the Union!! Our main impression is of a soldier serving with Company K who was stationed in Florida during the early and late months of 1863.
For more information or if interested in joining, please contact unit recruiter Mark at: All recruits will begin their service with Co. K as privates. We will work with you to ensure you know the drills and commands that every soldier on the field has to be proficient with.
